At South Ribble Leisure, we offer a wide range of activities to help you stay active and hit your DofE goals. Whether you want to try something new or improve your skills, our facilities and team are here to support you every step of the way.

 

Some ideas of what you could choose, at South Ribble Leisure:

 

1. Badminton

  • Improve your skills with our badminton coaching sessions, led by experienced instructors.
  • Or simply hire a court and enjoy some friendly matches with others from your group!

2. Tennis

  • Book a tennis court to practice your serve, rally, and net play.
  • Take lessons with our professional coaches to refine your game and gain confidence.

3. 5-a-Side Football

  • Get your friends or fellow DofE participants together for some 5-a-side football! It’s a great way to stay active, build teamwork skills, and have loads of fun.

  • Our swimming sessions are a great way to get active.
  • If you’re looking to improve, we also offer lessons for all ages, including adults.

6. General Fitness & Running

  • Set yourself a fitness goal, whether it’s increasing endurance, running a specific distance, or improving your overall fitness. Use our treadmills and fitness equipment to track your progress.

8. Fitness Classes (14+)

For those aged 14 and above, we offer a wide variety of fitness classes to keep you motivated and engaged. Options include:

  • Yoga: Enhance flexibility and relaxation.
  • Zumba: Get moving with this high-energy, dance-inspired workout.
  • Body Balance: A fusion of yoga, pilates, and tai chi.
  • Body Combat: Release your energy with this martial arts-inspired class.

Need your DofE booklet or app signed off? No problem! Just speak to a member of our team, and we’ll make sure your activities are logged and verified.

 

Reduced price pay-as-you-go sessions and memberships for students and young people

Students aged 11-25 can sign up to our Leisure Card scheme, which gives up to 50% off a wide variety of sessions. 

Alternatively we have young person and students memberships, offering great value for money.
