Exciting multimillion-pound green-investment - keep up to date with progress
South Ribble Leisure Centres are undergoing a multimillion-pound improvements project, which will make the buildings more energy efficient and will give them long-needed modernisation and upgrades.
During the majority of the works, members can come along and use all the facilities as usual with minimal disruption.
As the works progress, we will keep members up to date and will share any significant changes to use of the centre well in advance of them starting.
The decarbonisation programme is a major programme of works, set out in phases. The first stage has been the decarbonisation and infrastructure phase, which has involved huge improvements to the infrastructure that keeps the centres operational and energy efficient.
The next phase will be modernisation and improvements across all four sites. We'll be able to share the plans soon.
